Marriage contract of Khadijah Sultan and Mulla Muhammad ‘Ali, 1914
Marriage contract of Khadijah Sultan, daughter of Mashhadi ‘Ali, the baker from Isfahan, and Mulla Muhammad ‘Ali, known as Mukarram, from Habib Abad. The mahr is twenty-six tumans and two qirans and ten shahis, and three misqals [unit of weight] of gold. The bride settled two thousand five hundred dinars of her mahr with the groom for a Qurʼan worth one tuman.

Deposition about recording a marriage, 1910
Sayyid Ahmad A‘mi [the blind] from Kazirun, son of Mirza Kuchak from Kazirun, testifies about his presence at the marriage ceremony between the late Hajiyah Zivar Sultan, daughter of Haji Muhammad Hasan the merchant, and Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan, in August of 1904. The mahr was one hundred tumans and a volume of the Qur’an. Shaykh Lutf Allah, son of Haj Shaykh ‘Ali Muhammad, was the other witness to the marriage present at the Imam's courthouse.

Marriage contract of Banu Khanum, daughter of the late Haj Javad Darvish, and Haj Ghulam Riza, son of the late Darvish Muhammad Husayn. The mahr includes twenty-one tumans, a Qur'an, parts of a building in the Aqa neighborhood, shares of land in the Ab Bariki Plain, and a share of qanat water in the same plain. On the margin: "On 22 January 1926, Darvish Ghulam Riza sold Banu Khanum's share of the land with her permission, and instead, they included another piece of land as her mahr. Marriage contract of Akhtar al-Muluk Khanum, daughter of Mirza Ibrahim Khan Munshi Bashi, and Jalal Khan (treasurer), son of ‘Abd Allah Khan Tavallali. The mahr includes two thousand tumans and a copy of a Qur’an worth one hundred tumans.

Petition by Aqa Buzurg Kharraz [the shoe seller], son of Karbalayi Mahmud Kharraz, to Hujjat al-Islam Aqa Sayyid ‘Ali, requesting to call the witnesses to testify that Aqa Buzurg's wife (daughter of Haji Mirza Baba) possessed his belongings listed in the document, which she denies. On the margin, names of the witness women are listed as: Khanum ‘Ismat (wife of Mirza Muhammad Baqir), Rubab Sultan (daughter of Muhammad Ibrahim from Shiraz), Khanum ‘Azra, and Khanum Hufi (wife of Mirza Muhammad Ja‘far Khan). Hujjat al-Islam's response is on the margin as well.

The list includes a Qur’an, mirrors, lamps, sets of samovars, cups, sewing machine, bowls, clothes, wrapping cloths, curtain, bedding, jewelry, a watch, fabric, kitchenware, tableware, etc. Mirza ‘Abbas Khan received the goods mentioned.

Marriage contract of Marziyah Baygum, daughter of ‘Abd al-Javad the preacher from ّUpper Banuyah, and Mir Nasr Abu Talib, son of Mirza Muhammad ‘Ali. The mahr is ten tumans in cash, ten tumans to buy rose gold, ten tumans to buy clothes, some properties in Banuyah, and five tumans for acquiring a Qurʼan.

Marriage contract of Saltanat Khanum (known as Mukhbar al-Saltanah), daughter of Davud Mirza, and Shahzadah [prince] ‘Abbas Mirza, son of Haj Muhammad Mahdi Mirza, on March 15, 1910; the mahr includes a Qurʼan worth twenty-five tumans, one-twelfth of [illegible] ‘Abbas Abad village, five hundred tumans, a female Abyssinian slave worth one hundred and fifty tumans, and five mans [unit of weight] of silk.
